Answer:

Perimeter of square = 4 * side

Perimeter of circle = 2πr

According to question ,

4*side = 2πr

side = 2πr / 4 = πr / 2

Now , area of square = ( side )² = ( πr / 2 )² = π²r²/4

Also , area of circle = πr²

Hence , ratio of their areas = πr² / ( π²r² / 4 )

= 4 / π

Hence , ratio of their areas = 4 / ( 22 / 7 ) = 14:11
