It is in inverse proportion.
26/18 : x/13
26×18/13 is equal to x
So 36 men are required to do work in 13 days

26 men can do a piece of work in 18-days

18 days =26 men
1 day =26/18 men
13 days =26/18×13
= 18.7 = 19 approx

hence 19 men hired

snakebomber: the other guy gavea diffrent answer
Anonymous: what do u mean by idk
ChhaviVerma11: your answer is wrong because if 26 men needed to do work in 18 days then for 13 days means work should be done fast to complete it in 13 days so men are needed more to complete work
ChhaviVerma11: faster
ChhaviVerma11: smyara method is wrong
