a) x-y = 3

Solution: Consider x = 5 and y = 2 ( you can take any other number to solve like x = 13 and y = 10 )

now put value that —

—> x - y = 3

—> 5 - 2 = 3

—> 3. = 3 Ans

[don't know why this (.) is getting put with 3 it's not there but in my keyboard might be some problem soo don't put it ]

now next b) x + y = 5

Solutions: consider x = 2 ( or 1,3,4 only ) and y = 3 ( or 1,2,4 )

put value —

—> x + y = 5

—> 2 + 3 = 5

—> 5. = 5. Ans

Note: Why I writen in bracket because you have to choose those numbers when you + them the answer will 5 come ok this is a reason. But you cannot take the same number like in x you take 3 and Y also you take 3 if you will + them the answer will come 6 which is not equal to 5 ok ..
