Let the other integer be 'x'.

  • We know that, Integers are those numbers which are positive and negative numbers.
  • Therefore, Our answer will be either negative or it can be negative.

According to question:-

⇒x + 53 = -16

⇒x = -16 - 53

⇒x = -69

Verification:-

⇒x + 53 = -16

  • Put x = -69
