Universal indicator is pH paper. in which it is differs in different colors of pH range of 3.0 to 8.0. as it belongs to acid.. the colours will be of the shades of pink, red,orange.

A mixture of many common indicators each showing colour change over a certain time pH range is called as universal indicator. Universal indicator makes different color variations over the pH range. Over 3 pH range the colour is red, from 3 to 6 it is yellow or orange, on 7 it is green in colour and over 8 it is blue in colour.
