A science exhibition was organised at St.La Salle Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday. Rev. Sr. Leemarose, Headmistress of Das Navismatha Primary School inaugurated it.
The exhibition was organised as part of the Children’s Day. A total of 200 students from Standard VI six to XI from the school across displayed innovative talents.
With the key objective of bringing out the hidden talents of students and with a focus on creating more awareness of science, technology and engineering, the exhibition was organised said, D. Peppin, Headmaster.
Correspondent Rev. Bro. Robert Selvaraj, teachers of science and other staff members were present.

Chalibaug, December 17: A Science Exhibition for College students was organized by the Lions Club of Aurangabad at the Polo Ground on Sunday, 14th December. Best exhibits from all schools and colleges in Aurangabad were on display. These were divided into sections such as : Agriculture; India : On the move; Solar Power Nuclear and Space Research and Industry. Our College had put up exhibits in the Agriculture, Solar Power and Industry sections. Reema Sherwani of Std XII B won 2nd prize for her exhibit on 'Drip irrigation for water economy'. The chief guest, Adnl. Comm. Shri L K Bhagat was most impressed by the efforts of the students and their teachers. At least 5000 students and parents visited the exhibition during the day. The exhibits gave an idea of the progress that India has made and is making in all sectors. It was a day of great learning for all of us.
