Why water need to be conserved?

We will start with a basic reason. water need to be conserved because it is one of the basic necessities to maintain our life on the planet earth.

Water conservation is a practice to judicious use of water and in an economical way such that it do mot get wasted. As we know, even in our country, there are plenty of places where shortage of water occurs so often that many travels miles of distance to bring home water. This happens due to several reasons :-

• the region where people live has no water resources.
• nearby water lakes are polluted and hence cause various diseases.
• water in that region is available only in rainy days.

In our day-to-day life, we can save water by the following practices :-

• Don't leave tap open which would waste water for no reason.
• use tub while bathing instead of shower.
• washing vehicles by using mugs and tubs.

As an individual, one must aware people of the necessity of water and tell them economical ways to not waste water unnecessarily.
