Asha and Ashu will meet after 6 days.

Distance between the villages= 165km

Distance covered by Asha= 15+14+13+12+11+10 and so on

Distance travelled by Ashu = 10+12+14+16+18+20 and so on

So total distance travelled both = 25+26+27 and so on

So they are in an A.P series

Let them meet after 'n' days

So, distance travelled by them on the 'n'th day is 165km

According to the formula, we have:

Sum= n/2 [2a + (n-1)d]

[ where a is the first term and d is the common difference]

So, 165= n/2 [ 2*25 + (n-1)]

On solving we get n= 6

[ We can alternatively check as 25+26+27+28+29+30= 165]

So, they meet after 6 days.
