Definition of vector product:
A vector c whose length is the product of the lengths of two vectors a and b and the sine of their included angle, whose direction is perpendicular to their plane, and whose direction is that in which a right-handed screw rotated from a toward b along axis c would move.
Examples of Vector Product of Two Vectors:
Torque acting on rotating body is defined as vector product τ = r × F, Where F is a force and r is a position vector of the point of action of force. If a and b are the adjacent sides of parallelogram, then the area of parallelogram is given as A = | a × b|
