Answer:

x=40, y=20, z=10

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of 50 paise coins,25 paise coins and 20 paise coins be x ,y and z respectively.

Given,

50x+25y+20z=2700 ..(1)

y=2z ...(2)

y=x/2

So, x/2 =2z

So x = 4z ...(3)

From (1),(2) and (3)

50(4z)+25(2z)+20z=2700

200z+50z+20z=2700

270z=2700

z=10

So from (2), y=2z= 20

From (3), x=4z=40

So; x=40, y=20, z=10

Answer:

Let the number of 20 paise coins be x.

Number of 25 paise coins = 2x

Number of 50 paise coins = 4x

According to Question,

20x + 25 (2x) + 50 (4x) = 2700

20x + 50x + 200x = 2700

270x = 2700

x = 10

Hence, number of 20 paise coins = 10

Number of 25 paise coins = 2 × 10 = 20

Number of 50 paise coins = 4 × 10 = 40
