Solution,

Let the number of days taken be 'x'

Case 1 → 15 days are taken working 4 hours every day by 27 people.

Case 2 → x days are taken working 9 hours every day by 20 people.

Total Working hours required to finish the work  -

Case 1 → 15 * 4 * 27 = 1620 hours

Case 2 → x * 9 * 20 = 180x hours

Since the hours required to complete the work would remain the same for both the situations -

180 * x = 1620

x = 9 days

Therefore, the required number of days is 9.
