Answer:

Ratio of increased seats will be 72:100:135.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Litreture : Chemistry : Economics= 6:8:9

Increase % of seats in Litreture = 20%

Increase % of seats in Chemistry = 25%

Increase % of seats in Economics = 50%

Let seats in Litreture be 6x

Let seats in Chemistry be 8x

Let seats in Economics bd 9x

After increment,

Number of seats in Litreture =

6x \times  \frac{120}{100}  =  \frac{720x}{100}

Number of seats in Chemistry =

8x \times  \frac{125}{100}  =  \frac{1000x}{100}

Number of seats in Economics =

9x \times  \frac{150}{100}  =  \frac{1350x}{100}

Now ratio of increased seats will be

 \frac{720x}{100} :\frac{1000x}{100}: \frac{1350x}{100}  = 72x:100x:135x = 72:100:135

Required ratio is 72:100:135.
