27 solid iron sphere it's of radius 2cm are melted to formed a new solid sphere. what will be the surface area and the radius of a new sphere.

Volume of old sphere = 4/3 π r 3 

Volume of 27 spheres = 27 (4/3 π r 3 ) 

Volume of new sphere = 4/3 π r^ 3 

 4/3 π r^3 = 27 (4/3 π r 3 )

 r^3 = 27 r 3 
∴r = 3r
