The LCM of two numbers is 168 and their HCF is 12. If the difference between the numbers is 60. what is the sum of

LCM * HCF = Product of number

168 * 12 = x*y

x - y = 60

x + y = √(x-y)^2 - 4xy

x + y = √(60)^2 - 4 * 68 * 12

x + y = 108

               =  3600 + 8064

              = 11664

( a + b ) = √ 11664

            = √2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3

            =2 x2 x 3 x 3 x 3

            =108

( a + b ) =  108  

The sum of  the two numbers is 108.
