Question :-

Two equal sides of a triangle are (x + 6) cm and (5.x - 2) cm. If the third side is

(7x - 4) cm, find x. Then, find the perimeter of the triangle.

Required Answer :-

Put LHS and RHS.

=> x + 6 = 5x - 2

Transfer Variable one side and Constant term one side.

=> 6 + 2 = 5x - x

=> 8 = 4x

=>

x =   \cancel\frac{8}{4}  =  > 2

Value of x is 2.

Perimeter of Triangle is = a + b + c

=> x + 6 + 5x - 2 + 7x - 4

=> 2 + 6 + 5 (2) - 2 + 7 (2) - 4

=> 8 + 10 - 2 + 14 - 4

=> 26 Answer .
