(ii) Mas of common salt (solute)=40 g

Mass of water (soluted) =320 g

mass of solution=320+40

=360 g

1. It is of single phase.

2. It is a homogeneous mixture.

3. It consists of two or more than two components.

2) Mass of commpm salt = 60 g

Mass ofwater = 540 g

Total mass = 600 g

Mass percentage = mass of solute / mass of solution x 100

= 60/600 x100

= 10%
