Hii friend,

27/X-2 + 31/Y+3 = 85.....(1)

31/X-2 + 27/Y+3 = 89

Let 1/X-2 = U and 1/Y+3 = V

Putting 1/X-2 = U in and 1/Y+3 = V in equation (1) and (2)

27/X-2 + 31/Y+3= 85

27U + 31V = 85......(3)

31U + 27V = 89.......(4)

From equation (3) we get,

27U +31V = 85

27U = 85-31V

U = 85-31V/27........(5)

Putting the value of U in equation (4)

31U + 27V = 89

31 × (85-31V/27) + 27V = 89

2635 - 961V /27 + 27V = 89

2635-961V + 729V ÷ 27 = 89

2635-961V + 729V = 89×27

2635 - 232V = 2403

-232V = 2403 - 2635

-232V = -232

V = -232/-232

V = 1

Putting the value of V in equation (5)

U = 85-31V/27

U = 85-31×1/27 => 85-31/27 = 54/27

U = 2

Therefore,

U = 2 and V = 1

Therefore,

U= 1/X-2

2 = 1/X-2

2(X-2) = 1

2X -4 = 1

2X = 1+4

2X = 5

X = 5/2

And,

V = 1/Y+3

1 = 1/Y+3

Y+3 = 1

Y = 1-3

Y = -2

Hence,

Y = -2 and X = 5/2

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
