27 yrs. hence , his age 27+x yrs.

29 yrs.ago, his age 29-x yrs.

now,x+27=(x-29)^2

x+27=x^2+841-58x

x^2-58x-x+841-27=0

x^2-59x+814=0

x^2-37x-22x+814=0

x(x-37)-22(x-36)=0

(x-33)(x-22)=0

x-33=0,x-22=0

x=33,x=22
