Hi ,

I think there's an error in the question.

It may be like this.

( 343/8 )^2/3 - ( 1/4 )^-2 + 5^0

***************************************

By exponential laws :

1 ) a^0 = 1

2 ) ( a/b )^-n = ( b/a )ⁿ

3 ) aⁿ/bⁿ = ( a/b )ⁿ

4 ) ( a^m )^n = a^mn

*****************************************

= ( 7³/2³ )^2/3 - 4² + 1

= [ ( 7/2 )³ ]^2/3 - 16 + 1

= ( 7/2 )^3×2/3 - 15

= ( 7/2 )² - 15

= 49/4 - 15

= ( 49 - 60 )/15

= -11/15

I hope this helps you.
