It looked like a busy morning at the dentist's. Five people were already waiting, while the dentist had not yet arrived. Each face bore an anxious look, but patient number 5, a spirited woman, was more interested in showing her pictures to the other patients- probably her way of making strangers friends and making them uncomfortable simultaneously. As soon as the dentist arrived, Joe was ushered in. Soon, the nurse took a hammer, a pair of pliers and a hacksaw inside the clinic. Alarmed, Joe's wife couldn't stop her tears when sawing and screeching sounds started originating from the clinic. All but patient number 5, who was too busy with her pictures to pay attention to anything else, sneakily left. Joe came out, visibly upset. The dentist had misplaced his cabinet keys and Joe's appointment has been shifted to the evening. A little after Joe and his wife left, the dentist came into the waiting area looking for the keys and found them hiding under the telephone directory. Things were back in order and the doctor was ready to see the next patient. When the nurse called out, patient number 5 looked up. The waiting area was empty. She was quite surprised how the queue had moved so quickly and it was already her turn!
