to construct a house in the middle of the plot. A garden is developed around the house. Find
the total cost of developing a garden around the house at the rate of 22 per m??​

Now, total area = area occupied by the house = Area of rectangle with length 20 m and breadth 15 m.

Area of the square plot =25 m×25 m=625 m

∴ Area of the house =20 m×15 m=300 m

Then, area occupied by the garden = Total area − area of the house =625−300=325 m

Cost for 1 m

=Rs. 55

Then, total cost for developing a garden =325×55=Rs. 17875

Hence, the answer is 17875.
