{\boxed{\underline{\tt{\orange{Required  \: Answer:-}}}}}

 \sf \blue{(b.) \: is \: the \: correct \: answer}

●GIVEN:-

  • 4800 employees

  • 2/3 are non - technicians

  • Non - technicians reduced by 1/4

●TO FIND:-

  • percent of the total number of the remaining employees would then be non-technicians

●SOLUTION:-

 \sf{Number  \:  \: of \:  \:  Non- Technicians \:  = \:  4800 ×  \frac{2}{3} = 3200 }

Now, the non-technicians staff were to be reduced by 1/4

i.e.,

 \sf{ \frac{3200}{2}  = 1600}

So, The required percentage

  : \longrightarrow \sf{ \frac{1600}{3200}  \times 100} \\  \\  \sf  : \longrightarrow \pink{50}

So, The percent of the total number of the remaining employees would then be non-technicians is 50.
