28. Let breadth be x cm

then length = 2x -7

given that

2( 2x-7-2 +x+3) = 66

3x -6 =33

x = 13 = original breadth

original length = 2×13 -7 =19 cm

29. let the present age of son be x year

then father's age is 5x year

After 2 years

son's age =x+2 year

father's age= 5x+2 year

ATQ

4(x+2)=5x+2

4x+8=5x+2

5x-4x=8-2

x=6

son's age = 6 year

father's age = 5×6=30 year
