Solution: number of students students like statistics = 135

total number of students = 250

probability of likes statistics = number of students like statistics/total number of students

probability = 135 / 250

= 27 / 50

(ii)

Solution: number of students dislike statistics = 115

total number of students = 250

probability of dislikes statistics = number of students dislike statistics / total number of students

probability = 115 / 250

= 23 / 250
