28. Two equal sides of a triangle are each 5 metres less than twice the third side. If the
perimeter of the triangle is 55 metres, find the lengths of its sides.​

x+5+5 = 55

x = 55-10

x = 45 m

1st side of triangle = x

2nd and 3rd sides of triangle = 2x-5

x+(2x-5) = 55

= x+2x = 60

= 3x = 60

= x = 20

1st side = 20m.

2nd and 3rd sides = 35m.
