Given:-

  • Power of Bulb ,P = 60 W

  • Potential Difference ,V = 220v

  • Time taken ,t = 5min = 5×60 = 300s

To Find:-

  • Current ,I

  • Heat Produce ,H

Solution:-

Current is defined as the charge per unit time.

Using this Formula

• P = VI

where

P is the Power

V is the Potential Difference

I is the Current

Substitute the value we get

➨ 60 × 220 × I

➨ I = 60/220

➨ I = 0.27 A

Therefore ,the current flow through it is 0.27 Ampere.

Now, we have to calculate the Heat Produce by the bulb.

Using this Formula

• H = VIt

Where

H is the heat Produce

V is the Potential Difference

I is the current

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

➨ H = 220 × 0.27 × 300

➨ H = 17820 J

Therefore, the heat produced by the bulb is 17820 Joules.

=> P = VI

=> 60 × 220 × I

=> I = 60/220

=> I = 0.27 A

Again

=> H = VIt

=> H = 220 × 0.27 × 300

=> H = 17820 Joules.
