Given → Mass of bullet is 20 grams and bullet - strikes a sandbing at a speed of 200m/sec and gets embedded after travelling Lem

To find → Find the resistive force exerted by the Sand on the bullet to come to rest

SOLUTION-

mass=20g - 20/1000kg

28 = 0.02kg

U=200m/s

v=0m/s

s=2cm

= 2/100 m

=0.02

v(2)=u(2)+(2)as

02=200(2)+2 X a X 0.02

-200(2) = 2 X a X 2/100

40000 = 4a/100

a= 1000000 m/s(2)

f=ma

f = 1000000 X 0.02

f=10000 X 2

Final Answer

Final Answer=F= 20000 N
