F= Ma

6N = 1.5a

a = 4 m/s2

The car is at rest so u =0 and V= 8 m/s

40 m

Force = 6 N

Mass = 1.5 kg

Time = 2 s

a) When we use the formula

F = \frac{m( v - u)}{t}

6 = \frac{1.5 v}{2} ( as initial velocity (u) is 0 )

12 = 1.5 v

v = 12 ÷ 1.5

v = 8 m/s

b) d  = s × t

    d = 8 × 5

     d = 40 m
