29 cars are parked in a straight line. the distance between two adjacent cars is 5 feet. what is the exact distance between the first and the last car in this line?

For us to get the distance, we need to get the total number of spaces between the 29 cars.

Total number of spaces = total number of cars - 1

In this case total number of spaces =29 - 1 = 28spaces.

Each space is 5 feet.

Total distance between the cars = total spaces × the length of each space.

5 ×28= 140feet.
