Answer

Find the square root of 1800 by long division method.

Quotient = 42   |     Remainder = 36

We observe that 42² < 1800 < 43²

∴ The required no. to be added = 43² - 1800

                                                     = 1849 - 1800 = 49.

The perfect square = 1800 + 49

                                     = 1849

∴ √1849 = 43
