Given

ABC is a triangle right-angled at A, with AB = 21 cm and AC = 42 cm.

find

it's saded region

Solution

The side of triangle 21 cm and 42 cm

The area of triangle is

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 42 \times 21 = 441 \: cm {}^{2}

➝ the sector of corner have some radius 10 cm

➝ Therefore , the total area is combines sector of equal angles

➝ The Angle in triangle sum up to give 180°

➝ therefore, the total area of sector = \frac{180}{360}  \times \pi10 {}^{2} = 50 \times 3.14cm {}^{2}   = 157cm {}^{2}

➝ The Area of shaded region is given = 441 - 157 = 284 \: cm {}^{2}
