let the cost of pen be x ,

and ,let the cost of pencil be y,

then,

4x + 4y = 100..........(i)

x+y = 25

3x = y+15...............(ii)

so, from (i)

3(25-y) = y +15

75 -3y = y+15

so, 4y = 75-15 = 60

hence, y = 15
