$2a+10d=34$

$2(a+5d)=34$

$a+5d=\frac{34}{2}$

$a+5d=17$.......(2)

Subtracting 1 from 2, we get:-

$a+5d-(a=3d)=17-11$

$a+5d-a-3d=6$

$2d=6$

$d=\frac{6}{2}$

d=3
