Let the number be x.

ATQ, 200% of x = 20

 = \frac{200}{100} \times x = 20

 = x = 10

Now, 50% of 10 =

 \frac{50}{100} \times x

 = \frac{1}{2} \times 10

 = 5

Therefore, the answer is 5.
