By Elimination method

29x + 32y = 26----------(1) × 32

32x + 29y = 35-----------(2) × 29

eq'n (1) 928x + 1024y = 832

eq'n (2) 928x + 841y = 1015


----------------------------------
=> 183y = - 183

=> y = - 1

From eq'n (2)

=> 32x + 29 (-1) = 35

=> 32x - 29 = 35

=> 32x = 35 + 29

=> x = 64 / 32

=> x = 2

Therefore the value of x = 2 and y = - 1
