now we divide the above equation by 5 on bith sides, we get a=4.

Now put this value un any of the equations to find the value of b. If I put it in equation 1 we get, 2×4+3b=14,i.e., 8+3b=14

Adding -8 on both sides,

3b=6

Dividing both sides by 3,

b=2
