We know that,

(a + b + c)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + c^2 +2ab + 2bc + 2ca

a = 2a

b = -4b

c =c

By substituting the values,

(2a - 4b + c) = 4a^2 + 16b^2 + c^2 - 4ab - 8bc + 4ca
