Factorising it will give:-

(2a + b + c)² - (2a + b - c )²

= 2c(4a + 2b)

= 4c(2a+b)

Expanding it will give:-

( 2a + b + c)² - (2a + b - c)²

= { 4a² + b² + c² + 4(ab + bc + ca) } - { ( 4a² + b² + c² + 4(ab - bc - ca) }

= 4a²+b²+c²+4ab + 4bc + 4ac - 4a² - b² -c² - 4ab + 4bc + 4ac

= 4bc + 8ac

= 4(bc + 2ac)
