Given :-

  • Heat (H) = 80 joules
  • Current (I) = 2 A
  • Time (t) = 10 seconds

To Find :-

  • Resisiatnce (R) = ?

Answer :-

  • Resisiatnce (R) = 2 Ω

Explaination :-

As we know that,

  • H = I²Rt

Subsitute the given values in above given formula :

→ 80 = (2)² R (10)

→ 80 = 4 × R × 10

→ 80 = 40R

→ R = 80/40

→ R = 8/4

R = 2 Ω

Therefore,the resisiatnce of the conductor is 2 Ω.

Some other Formulas :

  • Speed = d/t

  • F = m. a

  • a (bar) = v - v_0/t = Δv/Δt

  • w = F x d

  • P = W/Δt

  • V = 1R

  • PE = mgh

  • p = mv

What is resistance ? ⠀

❥ Resistance is defined as a refusal to give in or to something that slows down or prevents something. ⠀

⠀It's denoted by R .

It's directly proportional to applied voltage and inversely proportional to the current.⠀

R ∝ V/I

or

R = V/I ⠀
