Current is the amount of charge passing through a conductor in a particular interval of time.
So according to the definition, the formula for the current is:
I = Q/t
I = 0.5 A and t = 0.2 sec
Therefore,
Q = I*t
Q = 0.5*0.2 = 0.1 C
One electon consists of a charge of 1.6*10^-19 C. Then the number of electrons passing would be:
Q = n*e
n = Q/e
n = 0.1/(1.6*10^-19) = 6.25*10^17 electrons
