q(x) = x²+x-6

i) if x = 2 ,

q(2) = 2²+2-6

= 4+2-6

= 6-6

= 0

Therefore,

2 is a zero of q(x).

ii) if x = -3,

q(-3) = (-3)²+(-3)-6

= 9 -3 -6

= 9-9

=0

Therefore,

-3 is a zero of q(x).
