Hey mate!

The base in (2g)3 is 6g and the exponent is 1. It is because 2g and 3 are in multiplication and hence there is no exponent. Note that, here no exponent means the exponent is 1. Because if the exponent is 0, then the answer would have become 1. Since anything to the power 0 is 1.
