1. Ferrous sulphate crystals colour will be changed into Green or Brown. It will give pungent smell because of SO₂ formation.

2. The liquid droplets collected on the cooler parts of the test tube will be of water. It is because water of crystallisation is evaporated and condensed in the form of water droplets.
