2k+1,8,3k are three consecutive terms of an arithmetic sequence . find the value of k​

consecutive no.s are those numbers which have difference 1

so, 8-1=2k+1

7-1=2k

6=2k

k=3. as 2(3)+1 = 7

as 8

as 3(3) = 9

so the value of k=3 .
