calorific value = heat produced ÷ weight of fuel used in Kg

Given-

Heat produced = 45000 Kj

Weight of fuel burnt = 2 Kg

Therefore,

Calorific value of the heat = 45000 kj ÷ 2 Kg = 22500 Kj/Kg

Fuel burnt kg = 2 kg
Fuel burnt to produce = 45000 KJ of energy
So, calculate the calorific value of fuel = ?

Then , Calorific value of fuel = KJ/g

So, g= 2 kg
KJ = 45000

= 45000÷ 2
= 22500
answer = 22500
