I'm supposed to write the net ionic equation for
2KI + Pb(NO3)2 -> PbI2 + 2KNO3
and I get how to do it for single replacement reactions but I don't understand writing a net ionic equation for double replacement reactions.
Thanks.

Lead nitrate is soluble, so it gets written as ions. The same goes for potassium iodide and potassium nitrate
