The solution will be like this
2log(x+1)=log(2x)
taking antilog on both sides we get
(x+1)to the power 2 =2x
x to the power 2 +2*x*1 +1 =2x
x to the power 2 +2x+1 =2x
x to the power 2 =2x-2x-1
x to the power 2 = -1
squareing both sides we have
x =1
2log(x+1)=log(2x)
taking antilog on both sides we get
(x+1)to the power 2 =2x
x to the power 2 +2*x*1 +1 =2x
x to the power 2 +2x+1 =2x
x to the power 2 =2x-2x-1
x to the power 2 = -1
squareing both sides we have
x =1
