The value of m

Solution :

\dfrac{2m}{3} + 8 = \dfrac{m}{2} - 1

 \implies \dfrac{2m}{3} - \dfrac{m}{2} = -1 -8

 \implies \dfrac{4m - 3m}{6} = -9

\implies \dfrac{m}{6} = -9

by cross multiplication

 \implies m = -9 \times 6
