= ( 2m )³ + 3 × ( 2m )² × 1 / 4 + 3 × 2m × ( 1 / 4 )² + ( 1 / 4 )³

= 8m³ + 3 × 4m × 1 / 4 + 3 × 2m × 1 / 16 + 1 / 64

= 8m³ + 3m + 3m / 8 + 1 / 64 [ ★ Required answer ]

Using the identity of (a+b)^3 = a^3 + b^3 + 3a^2b + 3ab^2 , we have

[2m+¼]³ = (2m)^3 + (1/4)^3 + 3 × (2m)^2 × 1/4 + 3 × 2m × (1/4)^2

[2m+¼]³ = 8m^3 + 1/64 + 3m^2 + 3m/8

So,

[2m+¼]³ = 8m^3 + 3m^2 + 3m/8 + 1/64
