As it is a quadratic equation we have to take

a=2;b=-13;c=-304

The formula to find the zeroes of a polynomial is:

-b(+-)√b^2-4ac ÷ 2a

-13(+-)√169-4(2)(-302) ÷ 2(2)

-13(+-)√169+2432 ÷ 4

-13(+-)√2601 ÷ 4

-13(+-)51 ÷ 4

-13+51 ÷ 4 ; -13-51 ÷ 4

38\4 ; -64\4. (I took ÷ as \)

19\2 ; -16

Therefore zeroes of polynomial are

Alpha = 19\2 ; beta = -16
